Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Netanyahu visited the Danziger Flower Farm on the way from Ben Gurion Airport to Jerusalem. Danziger is engaged in the research, breeding, development, propagation, and production of varieties of cut flowers.
The two leaders were briefed about the research technologies being used there for floriculture. Cutting-edge agricultural technologies of Volcani center (the research arm of Ministry of Agriculture) were also displayed and explained. These include remote sensing, GIS, and post-harvest technologies.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on Wednesday addressed the Indian Community in Israel, at a function in Tel Aviv. He began by noting that this was the first time that an Indian Prime Minister had come to Israel, and it had taken a long period of 70 years after independence.
He thanked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the warm welcome and respect accorded to him throughout his visit. He said that though diplomatic relations between the two countries are only 25 years old, yet ties between India and Israel go back several centuries. He said that he has been told that in the 13th century, the Indian Sufi Saint Baba Farid had come to Jerusalem, and meditated in a cave.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu co-chaired the first meet of CEOs forum in Tel Aviv. Making his address at the business meet, PM Modi stated that a new chapter had begun in India-Israel partnership which was driven by opportunities for betterment of lives of peoples of both countries.
The PM added, "Israel is known as Start-up nation. It has a unique sense and ecosystem of innovation and incubation. Credit must go to the Israeli entrepreneurs." In this context, he highlighted Government of India's 'Make in India' initiative. He shed light on steps being undertaken to make India a global manufacturing hub.
